I'm guest-blogging at the Best American Poetry blog this week. I'm honored and delighted to have been invited to contribute, and I'm having a ball figuring out what I want to post there. I put up my first post this morning -- a sestina called "Introduction:"

I guess I should begin by explaining who
I think I am. Obviously I write.
My surname means "unadorned leaf"
(think: blank page) and I get to post
ruminations here for a whole
week! Well, five days, give or take an hour...
